How far in advance should I schedule?

We recommend scheduling your first alteration appointment 4–6 months before your wedding date to allow time for multiple fittings.

Can you alter dresses purchased elsewhere?

Absolutely! Many of our clients come to us with gowns purchased from other salons, online retailers, or even vintage shops. We welcome all brides.

Can sleeves be added to a strapless gown?

Yes! Adding sleeves — whether lace, illusion, or fabric — is one of our most popular modifications. We’ll work with your gown’s fabric to create a seamless look.

Can a dress be made smaller?

Yes, we can take in a dress significantly. In most cases, we can reduce the size by 2–3 sizes depending on the construction of the gown.

Can a dress be made larger?

Letting out a gown depends on how much extra fabric is available in the seams. We’ll assess this during your consultation appointment.

How many fittings will I need?

Most brides need 2–3 fittings. The number varies depending on the complexity of alterations and how your body changes leading up to the wedding.
